Memorial Service

Dateline; May 18th, 2008 At the Police Headquarters here in San Miquel this past Sunday, I was here to play Bagpipes at a memorial service for the Fallen Heros of Law Enforcement. I was invited to play and attend by Hope McAlpine and Officer Tony Gourdou. The service was held on the third floor with a parade preceeding. I arrivered shortly before the service and was in the parade leading to the Police Headquarters. It was a very moving emotional experience for all of us who attended. Hope McAlpine gave her story about a friend who was shot to death in a rest room in Minneapolis Mn. nearly two years ago. Other speakers in Ren Stonecutter gave thoughts about those who gave their lives.
