Avatar's Aspen Anansi, and Starcom Luchador used to run a medical center for over a year. But eventually closed up shop. It was a combination Medical Center and Mental Center where people could go and talk about thier problems as Avatars. When you walked into the place it looked like a Family Practice Center. This includes the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Public Health, and The Medical Clinics. These colleges are complete with conference rooms, lounges, labs, and exam rooms. Some of the avatars include our Second Life patient Vita who visits the clinics and also gives tours, and Dean Steven Klasko, Vice President for USF Health and Dean, USF College of Medicine. The islands can be found at USF Health and USF Health II. The University of South Florida, Health Sciences Center has a virtual campus in Second Life.
