Worldwide Candle Lighting in Second Life

The Second Life Worldwide Candle Lighting was held in conjunction The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting[R], an event held around the globe at 7:00 p.m. local time. The Worldwide Candle Lighting is held in remembrance of the lives of children of all ages who are no longer with us "...that their light may always shine." This year's event was held at Peace Chapel in Baddest and had a special display honoring the lives of children who have been murdered recently, including the victims of the Omaha Mall and Virginia Tech shootings, Sean Taylor, Riley Sawyer, Sophie Sergie, Kelsey Smith, and others. Participants were invited to place candles honoring their loved ones and post photos on the Remembrance Wall. The display will remain up at the Peace Chapel in Baddest (119, 79) through the end of December.
