Welcome to CNN in Second Life. We’re trying something new and we want you to be a part of it. We’re building CNN I-Report inside the virtual world of Second Life so the citizens of Second Life can share their stories of the world with one another, and with us.

There are two ways you can send your Second Life I-Report. One, you can join us at our virtual I-Report hub in Second Life where you can find all the tools you need to be an SL I-Reporter. Or, you can send us your images, videos and stories from Second Life by uploading them with this form.

We’ll highlight your Second Life stories right here on our blog, as well as in world.

Join us for our first in-world event Tuesday, November 13.
Where: iReport hub on Future
When: 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m SLT)

We hope to see you soon in Second Life and look forward to seeing your stories.

This whole Second Life crap is so juvenile. Who ever thought up this idea is so immature and computer game addicted. You need to get off your computer, grow up and get a real life in the real world.

i am always interested when i see companies move into SL, most of the time they get it so wrong (the amphitheater is a bad sign as that is the first sign it will be just another empty business sim). i’ll keep an eye on this to see if it does anything different. The only company that has got it almost right is T-Mobile and all they did was make a dance island. Good luck with it.

With people like you in the real world (Julie), i think i’ll stay in SL thank you very much.

I think CNN’s presence in SL will draw in more hi-profile companies and organizations. It is the future of a new style of communications and thankfully CNN does not fear cutting edge.

CNN, welcome to SL. I’m sure you’ll do well here. The remote kiosk sounds interesting. It will probably look great in our headquarters. Thanks for coming to SL, and good luck in the future.
